My name is Rozita and I use Machine Learning algorithms, mathematical numerical modeling, and parallel computational programming to tackle complex problems in science and engineering. COVID Infection Growth Prediction
I predict the future daily COVID-19 growth across 14 days using a Random Forest Model. I combined the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker data set, Hofstede cultural dimensions, and daily reported COVID-19 infection case numbers for 114 countries to train this model. The test set R2 score of this Random Forest Model is 0.6 in comparison to a Naïve Model that results into R2 score of 0.2.
